<body> <h2>Introduction to Swindon Counselling Service</a></h2> <p> <font style="font-size: 13pt"><b>We have been working in Swindon and the surrounding area since 1987 to help people with personal, emotional, and relationship difficulties.</b> </font> </p> <p> Swindon Counselling Service is a Registered Charitable Company founded in 1987 to provide counselling and training. </p> <p> We are an accredited, organisational member of the <a href="http://www.bac.co.uk"><i> British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)</i></a> and adheres to the BACP Ethical framework for good practice in counselling and psychotherapy. </p> <p> The Service is a Member of the <a href="http://www.wpf.org.uk"><i>Westminster Pastoral Foundation</i></a> (WPF) Network, a national organisation with approximately thirty counselling centres throughout the UK. The quality of counselling and training is ensured through the WPF who regularly appraise counselling in the Service and approve all training courses.  WPF takes a leading role in the development of all aspects of national policy regarding counselling.</p> <p> Swindon Counselling Service has a policy of Equal Opportunities both in the service it provides and in its employment practice.  The Equal Opportunities policy is available upon request.</p> <p> We provide counselling from 9am to 9pm on Mondays to Thursdays and from 9am to 5pm on Fridays.</p> <p>SCS operates in a smoke free environment.</p> <p>This website uses frames, but your browser doesn't support them; but you can <a href="left.htm">continue to access the site by clicking here</a>.</p> </body>
